Chevron Design Custom Tailpiece Letain Archtop Guitar
The Eraser is the latest Letain Custom Archtop Guitar. Look closely at the neckblock -
there isn’t one. It appears that there is no neck block but it is concealed
inside the guitar’s body. The neck is a sandwich of walnut, carbon fiber & maple.
This innovation offers maximum playability and accessibility to the complete fret board. The carved top is made of bear-claw sitka spruce. This is a 25″ scale Archtop guitar.
The Eraser’s tailpiece is made of walnut, paduk and ebony, cladding a custom brass interior structure.
There is a brass anchor adorned with a custom ebony button. Both the pin and the tail piece have a beautiful chevron design incorporated into them.
The Eraser has a Kent Armstong floating pick up beautifully held in the finger rest with a thumb wheel volume control.

This archtop is 17″ scale and has an Engleman Spruce top and African Mahogany back, sides and neck. It has an Ebony fretboard with the signature Letain inlay and Ebony headstock veneer. The machine heads are Shaller minis with ebony buttons. The tailpiece, finger rest, bridge and trussrod cover plate are all made of wenge. This electric guitar is constructed with a chambered body. The body is a sandwich of a Maple, Walnut & African Mahogany. The African Mahogany neck is carved into the back without a heel, allowing easy playability to the highest frets.

The top and headstock are highly figured Maple and Walnut. The fret board is Ebony with a Mother of Pearl “Letain” signature inlay.
The pickups are EMG Humbuckers, that are wired in the Les Paul style. The thumb wheel volume controls and pickup selector switch are subtly mounted in an ebony pick guard.

This 17″ hand carved Archtop guitar has an Engeleman Spruce top and flame maple back and sides. The 25″ scale fret board
finger rest, headstock veneer and tailpiece are individually crafted in ebony.

This instrument is ultra light and has wonderful playability . The Yellow Cedar back, sides and neck make it very acoustically responsive.The sound hole rosette is made of Spalted Maple and Walnut. The headstock veneer and binding are both made of Walnut.
The fretboard and bridge are Ebony. This guitar has a wonderful bright clear tone. This flat top acoustic guitar is finished with nitro-cellulose lacquer.

This 7 String Archtop Guitar has a Sitka Spruce top hand-carved Maple back and sides. The fingerboard, tail piece and pick guard are ebony. The Flame Maple back and sides are accented with the Ebony pick guard and tail piece. The “Letain” signature inlay is Mother-of-Pearl inset into the Ebony fingerboard.

This Les Paul Style electric guitar body is made with Birds Eye Maple and Honduras Mahogany. The body is chambered out giving this electric guitar a special tone. The neck is Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, jumbo fret wire and the headstock veneer is Birds Eye Maple. The pick guard is a thin sandwich of Ebony, Walnut and Ebony. This 17″ scale Guitar has a hand carved Archtop made with an Engelmann spruce top. The sides and back are figured maple. The inlaid abstract rose on the upper bout is made of ebony and mother of pearl. The signature “Letain” fingerboard markings are inlaid with mother of pearl on the ebony fingerboard. The tail piece and truss rod cover are handmade of ebony. This Archtop guitar has a blue nitro-cellulose lacquer finish.
